Hello! I’m Sierra, a licensed clinical social worker based in Saint Petersburg, FL.
My priority is to focus on your needs and ensure that you see benefit in our sessions together. This is your time, and it’s important that you feel heard and understood. I have experience working with clients who have depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, or have gone through significant life changes.
I believe in warmth, acceptance, and a solution-focused approach. I utilize a variety of treatment approaches to give you an integrative experience that is tailored to your needs. I have an extensive background in skills coaching such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Skills coaching teaches you to have an active role with concrete coping methods to help you gain control of your life and emotions. I also provide EMDR as a treatment for trauma, a highly effective way to rewire old patterns and memories
I am currently taking virtual clients anywhere in the states of Tennessee, Florida and Iowa and I accept insurance plans through Aetna, Optum, and United.
